After days at sea we had a short stop in Malaga before docking the next day back in Savona. I have decided that I am not crazy about the days at sea. Even though I really enjoyed all the ports, I don't think I would do anther big curise. The fact that there were only small number of people who spoke enlgish on the ship was interesting. So wanted to speak another language .. any lanaugage. Even when I told the Germans I did nto speak Germann they kept talking!
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands pathenger... Margaret River in Western Australia), then went to the "Den" where all the monkeys hang out. there were even little baby ones! AWW!! They were so cute, if not a little cheeky. A big monkey pick-pocketed a full packet of peanut M&Ms out of a lady´s pocket and chowed down the whole lot in a matter of seconds. And then didn´t even put the wrapper in the bin! I mean, really! Anyway, I was totally smitten when a little baby ...
Marbella, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands markandnoma2009... pictures from Morocco. I told her that I went to Spain to learn Spanish but instead I received my degree in Belly Dancing. How funny.
Tomorrow I will be going to my friend Maria (my Pachange intercambio partner's girlfriend) class at an institute to talk to her tourism class in English. That should be interesting. Then Saturday I'll be in Cordoba and Sunday studying for an exam on Monday. I hope I do good.
Hasta luego.
Malaga is the major city near Frigiliana (where the train dropped us off). We spent a day there when we picked up Jaime and Rob at the train station. Some highlights:
... girlfriend, Maria. Alex reminds me of my high school Spanish teacher. They got some mojitos at a bar but they did not like them so Alex went back in and bought a beer. Maria asked the bartender about the mojitos and why they taste different and the bartender told her that they mixed it with a different kind of soda because they didn’t have any more of the usual kind. So there we were standing in the street drinking and he was ...

Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... was very tasty and I feel better that I can at least eat again without being so paranoid about where the food has been stored all day. We had met an english lady on the train that was so ill by the food in morroco that i felt really glad and relieved that we had come off so lucky.

cooking in a kitchen without an oven is interesting, it takes some planning to think about what can easily be made. we brought a few items with us from london like spices and wheatabix (similar to shredded wheat, you eat it with hot milk) for our brekkie, i like to make spanish tortilla ...
... of sudden, the boat slowed. I remember the driver looking back for a split second, then he cut left fast. I leaned into the turn, but realized it didn't matter... we were going over! Plop. Right into the chilly sea. Everyone was shocked, especially the girls. Steve looked unfazed though, and despite the fact that I was surprised, the whole experience was a thrill. The boat came back around to pick up up, and Val looked a bit off. She said her arm hurt a little ...
