    ... then back to the boat for lunch..mackerel....which was was surprisingly delicious. The day finished with more swims (and a snooze for me) at SV Klement island to be back in Hvar by 5.30. The views from our balcony are spectacular ...we watched the cruise ship lit up ready to leave. After a rest we wandered back into town (15 mins downhill.... Obviously UP hill ...

    ... to put up the tent before it got started with the serious rain! A jacket for Emma and a t-shirt for Emma and we got started. A bit later and a lot wetter and we got it sorted - however since the pitches were all gravel with a little soil, we needed to find a rock to tap the pegs in....

    ... Croatia so there was a charge of €1 for a brilliant tour with a very enthusiastic guide called Doris. It helped clear up the reason behind the eggy smell around the harbour we'd noticed when we arrived - natural springs. Also apparently the reason there are no flies at the fish market. Still plenty of seagulls but no where near the size if the native Aberdeen seagull! So it's time to say hvala, Croatia and Italia, sto arrivando...ferry time ...

    ... t-shirts, and there were quite a few religious among them (often one or two per group of thirty or so), so I figured it must be some kind of pilgrimage? Maybe they're all going to Medjugorje? The back of the t-shirts said "Dubrovnik 2014" though so I don't know.

    ... up on seasickness tables (my lifesavers of the week!). Haydn and Rachel cooked an amazing meal of brushetta, chicken and prosciutto skewers, and pesto and tomato pasta. An amazing boat meal.
