... for tea, happy hour again and off to Sky Bar - where cocktails were served in buckets! It was fair to say everyone was extremely happy with their buckets - and watching angry Tony was definitely a picture we will not forget in a hurry! Onto Reverly a club in a castle! On arrival the waiters were doing tricks with fire sticks, girls were dancing up a storm on the pole and the DJ had a a massive light show to go with his set! It was fair to say we were impressed! After a restful nights sleep we decided to drive to Hvar township for lunch. Firstly stopping in Vrboska for a walk along the marina and stopping for a coffee/orange juice. From here we drove onto Hvar over the hill and along the winding road that winds down the other side and along ...

Mark and I have just spent the day doing a self guided tour of the old town ...

... change of 5 kuna required to use it. This is pretty typical in many places in Europe – paying to use the restroom. It’s kind of a pain, especially when you don’t have all of the coins and small currency.

We safely made it back to town and all decided that letting Simon drive probably wasn’t the best idea. We fueled the car up with gas, and took it back to the man by the port. Then, we had a nice lunch ...

... and allowed ourselves some down time to not be tourists.

To mix our blogs up a bit I will attempt to describe our time in Split using 'S' words.

Seafood - it is a specialty and the majority of menus have a heavy leaning to it. While we were there the annual 2 month ban on fishing the Med was in force, so I'm not actually sure where the fresh fish came from?! Which leads me onto....Smells - though you couldn't smell it in ...
