... beach day. Right at the end of the day Mum and I were floating on the Lilos and Declan was teasing us by throwing these small pebbles at us. Next second one hit me in the mouth and my lip split and blood was pouring out over the Lilo. We went back to the apartment to find that not only was my lip split but my tooth was really wiggly. by now it was very late so we had to wait til morning to see the dentist. Ouch - Grace

... moving into the winter timetable. I think you need to ask yourself what you want from a holiday before you go. I didn't want hot weather and beach time, so this time of year was pretty perfect for me. I just didn't realise that some island hoping was going to be a little difficult. However, I caught a local ferry out to Brac (pronounced Bratch) for the day and I wandered around a pretty deserted town, bar a few cafes and bakeries that were open and tried to imagine ...

Night life in Havr was awesome, as there was no happy hour on board we decided with James and Shayne it was time to hit an offy or what we call a dairy to get some cheap beers and head to a wedding!! We caught up to the rest of the group and hit up Nautica a night club where we danced and drunk up - Jeremy got his shoulders into it and showed some fantastic moves! It was def time to ...

... we enjoyed some whisky - I'm getting quite a taste for Chivas regal - no wonder I'm spending so much. The next day was some more touristy stuff - after a quick Skype to mum and dad and breakfast in bed (I could reach my banana in my locker from my bed - claiming it!) I walked the city walls!! No photos will do it justice. So many stairs to climb which helped my guilt of excessive bread eating in Turkey. The views of the ocean and city were beautiful and I made ...

... day to take us to neighbouring islands for a swim/picnic and to see both the blue and green caves and Parmižana beach. That proved to be an enjoyable day on the water, despite a few rough patches when the wind whipped up. We drove to Zagreb the next day and spent the afternoon checking out the city. There are some magnificent buildings and the city had a good "vibe" as there were bands playing, markets filled with lovely local produce and crafts and many restaurants.
