      ... bit about science but makes it fun. For us 2 adults however it got a bit boring, very quickly. We did watch the Hidden universe at the IMAX which was quite good - definitely the best bit to say the least!

      After having some dinner at TGI Fridays we decided to call it a day and give our legs a bit of a rest. Another long day tomorrow as we are driving back to LA to drop the car off but hope to go via La Jolla to see some more sights.

      ... actually works in the restaurant and was on duty the night we were there. We were looked after so well and were extra lucky, as it was lobster night and we had a lovely waitress looking after us. One of the other pilots had recommend several other things for us to do and I think we managed to do most of them.

      So San Diego seems pretty compact.  It wasn't too long a drive from the hotel to Sea World.  We arrived fairly early and had no problems parking.     We headed over to the Arctic area first to see the lazy polar bears, the beluga whales, penguins - who were adorable of course.  There were 5 different shows on as well that day - and they were all timed well so you could get from one to the other.  We passed by ...

      ... the Americans would be the friendliest persons I have met in all my travels. I am at a loss to say why this is because it is not only those in the tourist industry; its been everyone we seem to have met whether having a meal, snorkeling or when we have been out walking.

      On arriving at San Diego, we got a taxi to our Hotel and find that it is just across the road from a Casino so I guess we may pay a visit to see how they work ...
