    ... a beautifl spot our intention was to have a few days R&R before tackling LA/Hollywood.

    ... very big at all. More of a theme park than a place to see and learn about the oceans wonders - wouldn't recommend wasting your time on this one.

    We are now drinking beer and cider by the grill and preparing for a long drive tomorrow towards the direction of the Grand Canyon but with a few pit stops in between - first stop Lake Havasu, AZ.

    ... Let's see... If in San Diego, you MUST get Mexican food, it is actually quite difficult to avoid, but it is pretty tasty and not too unhealthy.

    You also have to try the Slater's 50/50 burger. 50% beef and 50% bacon! OMG!

    N (of L&N) makes the best Guacamole, but you probably won't get the chance to have that unless you know them as well...

    ... We saw many different animals including lots of snakes, lizards and yucky insects in the Discovery Area. A walk through the monkey trail to see our cousins confirmed my concerns that one day they will take over the world. They were very clever and interesting to watch.

    ... Brewing Sublimely Self-righteous Ale and a Ballast Point, Red Mermaid's Ale. That was my reward for enduring the nonsensical labeling of Whole foods. Bobby had dinner with Aunt Judy at the fancy dining room of the Pacific Regent Condominiums.
