... plenty for Neil to look at while I sunbathe. Time for coffee at the The Lazy River cafe, as recommended by a man we met on the plane, while sitting there having coffee we spot an enormous bird (the feathered kind) on the other side of the river, we're not sure what it was, but we're doing a river cruise tomorrow and hopefully someone will know what it was.
Then we decided to try our luck with the car park again at the nature reserve and after a couple of ...

... ordinary play. We decided to stay a few more days and were offered a free day so we just chilled and caught up on washing and maintenance until Tuesday the 23rd.

... out at the house. In the afternoon around half 4 we took Minnie and Maisie for a walk as the weather was still nice, we took them out for about half an hour. It was nice to stretch our legs. Joff cooked us up a monster mixed grill for dinner with steak, lamb, sausage as well as egg, beans and wedges which we enjoyed with a couple of beers. Sophie picked Teresa up from work around 9:15 and we retired for an early night as we have an early start in the morning. ...

A travel blog entry by woodyandsmith on May 06, 2014

First stop was Noosa where we found a great lookout to sleep at, had a day at the beach, discovered $5 dinners at nomads hostel and got our locks smashed in a burglary attempt...bad start! Next we drove down to Surfers Paradise but detoured through the Glasshouse Mountains on route which were beautiful. SP was a large city and in the rain was not that appealing, it seemed only to be good for a massive night clubbing which we ...

... simply stunning view over Noosa! It was incredible, the sun was shining and the water was sparkling! On returning to the house we went straight for a dip in the pool to cool off. Around half 6 we all sat down at the table on the terrace for a beautiful barbecue! Sausage, lamb chops and koftas! Lovely! The rain started to come down pretty heavy throughout the evening, we settled down in the movie room to watch 'Gravity' before turning in for the night around 10pm. ...
