We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

... We then went out for dinner and headed back to the hotel where we relaxed and chatted.

The next day we drove from Albania to Montenegro. We stopped in Budva for a couple hours where we went for a walk to the old town and into the castle. It would have been amazing living in the castle because of the views. It was so hot and humid in Budva that after we had a look around the castle grounds we went for a drink then headed to the beach. ...

... Nope. There was a "book store." I looked for a map. Nope. Eventually I went outside for a taxi. Found one. We loaded up and I said "downtown." He looked at me like I was speaking Swahili. I might as well have been. "Acropolis." No dice. He was getting exasperated. I dug around my bag and pulled out the tourist book Mom got me for Christmas, flipped to the map of downtown Athens and pointed to it. He looked at it, made some noise, and off we went. He still didn't seem happy. ...

... a beach at the bottom of a very steep narrow hill) we decided to get ourselves and our house in order…….do the washing up, washout the cupboards and clean our teeth etc. If you’re clever enough you would have already figured out that for the most part of all these chores you need running water which is fine because we had a spare 25 litres knocking about…. Or at least we did until we discovered a huge puddle inside and outside of our van ...

Anywhere in comparison to Fiscardo will be civilsed and Sivota is usually no exception.

Except for the time when Yanni, the chap who owns the Taverna we go to for our group meal, had an ferocious emblazoned stand up row with some Dutch guys who had used his fresh water hose to clean out their holding tank in the harbour. Christ, I thought he was going to rip their heads open and sh*t down their necks! Bit grim though, no one likes to see a floater bobbing by as you ...
