Two Young Giffers on a Motorbike in Fetihye

A travel blog entry by jennifer63 on Aug 11, 2014

Great to get back on the bike today, er um for about 10 minutes. The temperature rose to 42.5 in no time and our Rukka textiles are not suited to this, we were literally baking inside our gear. Reluctantly but necessary, I took off my jacket and rode in a t-shirt for the first time ever, it was bliss but sooooo unsafe. A waterfall spouting ...

After hiking around, we went back to the van and continued our ride to Fethiye. It took about 3 hours to get there, but was a great drive. On to Zurich and then just a short two-hour wait until my flight to Ataturk, Istanbul, where I made good use of the Finansbank VIP lounge when I eventually found it secreted away on the top floor. A short flight on to Dalaman in time for my pickup by Rain Transfer … who, true ...

River rapids and mud baths

... out. It was a huge meal and very fulfilling. We were all sitting on these massive cushions around a couple of tables just chatting and drinking then Joel, Pete and I decided to head downstairs and check out the club. As we pushed open the sliding door the DJ promptly blasted Thrift Shop by Mackelmore and we stood there, on the dance floor, looking around the empty club.

We turned on our heels to leave and the DJ was so upset he asked us if we were going because of the ...
