Paradise
... of a road going south after the end of the town, and so I hit a ride in only half an hour. The guy wasn't going to far though and he took me a couple of villages down the coast. At least it was a beggining! From there, scored two more same little rides south from town to town, and ended up in the late afternoon just after Makarska, in a tiny village called Podgora, where I decided to find a place to camp for the night.

Spaghetti night
... of crazy stories. He went to the store and got some cheese, bacon, and another thing of pasta to get in on the spaghetti action. Then I actually cooked! I could tell Reece was nervous about my cooking- he kept saying he wanted to just be near me but I know he was really supervising. Guys always have such little faith in my culinary skills! Day Fourteen
... on the city in 1667 caused almost total destruction to the tower, and this, along with the statues have been restored at unbelievable time and expense. They were considered guardians of the city because they were based on the legendary hero Perseus who defeated Medusa according to Greek legend.
