... morning at the Padi Dive Shop and assess the conditions. Its pretty windy but we are assured that only 10 minutes drive south, an offshore beach dive surrounded by a cove will be fine. After being kitted out, we pile into the 4WDs and travel along the arid coast line, that in parts reminds us of the Mediterranean, before arriving at the cove. Restaurants: friends, red cat, and funny mummy are great beach restaurants with good atmosphere and quality food on mid-high price range.

Yum Yum and king chicken off the beach are great for a snack or a cheap dinner.

... the driver to take us to a hotel which was inside the walls of the Old City where cars couldn’t go. Once we worked this out the taxi driver smiled good naturedly and dropped us at the gates to the Old City. I stared up at the ancient walls bearing down at us.
