    ... their time with drinks or food at the local cafe of their choice. the bus dropped us near a small harbour which although well constructed against the worst moods of the Atlantic ocean was clearly made for the local fishing fleet.     So as to what I did, I am probably not going to say much on this because a picture is worth a thousand words. But I will tell you about he boat trip I took on a Catamaran to whale and dolphin watch was so beautiful it was practically spiritual.     ... named after the beach we were sitting at: Playa Jardin which contained egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple - seriously worth a try if you are ever in Tenerife. Came with fries as well so went for a long walk afterwards to walk a little of it off but finished up with an ice cream - such a holiday thing to do!

    ... thing that is worth a mention is the Katandra Treetops. This is an aviary which you walk around on swinging bridges above the treetops. Around you fly dozens of species of birds including yet more parrots. Not usually a fan of being up close and personal with animals but this wasn't too intense as they didn't fly at you. A must for anyone visiting the park, unless you have a bird phobia, then stay well away!
