Friday was departure day but with an evening flight I was first going to enjoy yet another leisurely day. On scanning the morning’s news though I learned that the Gulf was experiencing serious sandstorms which were disrupting flights and were expected to last into the weekend. After my 7 hour delay on the way out due to fog in the Gulf was I now in for a long delay on the way back because of sandstorms?
