... we got to the end we swam across back to the beach and made for the car. What a beautiful way to wake up in the morning!! We drove to Gympie Terrace, ordered cappuccinos and bacon and egg rolls from Beans and Bagels and picked a picnic bench alongside the river and sat out to eat our breakfast. It was lovely. We drove to Noosa Marina afterwards to collect the other car before heading back to the house! After a lovely hot shower and a visit ...

... we made it back to the highway and headed for Eumundi where we stopped for a late lunch at The Green Room which was lovely. We spent an hour listening to the Live Acoustic Sessions on the balcony before returning to Noosa in the late afternoon where we had a drive around the beautiful residential area of Peregian Springs! Some of the houses here are stunning! We finished off the day with a quiet evening in, couple of movies and a great antipasti buffet. ...

... trek to Australia Zoo, home of the late Steve Irwin. It came highly recommended and we weren't disappointed. Scores of healthy looking animals in generous enclosures amidst lovely grounds. We attended one of their animal shows where Henry had a moment. They release a flock of a variety of birds who fly around the stadium to loud rock music before returning to their handlers. Henry's face! Pure panic. ...
