First two weeks in Perth

... cold over here. After two bottles of wine back at the hostel, we decided to go out. It was one of the funniest nights ever! The next day I met Erika, an American girl, and Elizabeth from Canada and they showed me around in Fremantle. A wonderful small suburb, 30 minutes away from the city centre. Loved it! Monday and Tuesday was really relaxing and I spend most of my time in the hostel because it did not stop raining. Wednesday was suddenly there and that meant: ...

Today we had to go to Perth. Packing the car was not as hard as I thought it was going to be, everything fits and you can still see out the back window. Not bad for a little hatch back. The pizzas were great (why can't Armidale Dominos make pizzas like that???). And the delivery guy was exemplary (Kev's word), cheerful, easy-going and pleasant all round. Well done Perth Dominoes!

Oh, and Cheeky Monkey Brewery, Belgian IPA really good :)

We play spot the animal and concentrate on the national coat of arms first. Jonathan and Jeff spot an echidna. Shortly after Ian spots a kangaroo, the emu takes a little while longer to spot by Angela. ...

... the finals, there was a 4th, 6th and 8th in our results. After the second day of racing, I had finished for the week, so my family and I decided to celebrate with a dinner in Fremantle at La Porchetta (an Italian restaurant) which was located right in the middle of the main street in Freo- Market Street. This is where the Fremantle Markets are located, along with hundreds of other shops, restaurants and bars, this is the place to be to find the ...
