... white. Saw clouds over the mountains but they dispersed when the sun came up. Think that be it for the day. Unfrenetic activity on the quay side with the most noise the sound of waves hitting the harbour wall. Rest of the crew still sleeping or doing other things in their cabins! See Simone's blog for the rest of the day - happy but with trepidation but much fun at the end of the day!! Photos from this morning's walk into Vathi town to go shopping ...

Argostoli is a town and a former municipality on the island of Kefalonia, Ionian Islands, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kefalonia, of which it is a municipal unit. On one of the hills an old ruined windmill stands with a Greek flag atop which can ...

... their 3rd birthday, of being open I assume. I think everyone they knew attended haha. It was great.

After making up on lost sleep I took a walk to the nearest and biggest town on the island Argostoli. It was a beautiful walk along the coast. The landscape reminds me a little of home; it’s bush, and dry, but green in places and then the sea is right there. The water is a beautiful clear and blue colour. Along the way I past the ...

    Greek Islands Day 5: Poros

Today has been one of the best days. We arrived on an island that I have really enjoyed and we had a sailing race!!!

This was probably the highlight to be honest. All 14 boats raced around and island today on our way to Poros. As there are big boats and little boats and we are the smallest, we all had staggered starts to try and even it out. So, how it went.

Each boat had to be manned only by the crew / drunk & hangover ...
