        ... accurately, alleys, twist & turn every 10 m apparently to fool the pirates. It was quite windy & coolish so we returned to the waterfront & had another drink & a plate of the best fried squid that we have ever tasted. Luckily for us the wi-fi worked well so we all caught up on correspondence etc.

        At about 6.30 we returned to the ship & were in bed by about 9pm after a pretty lazy ...

        ... coffee in a cafe somewhere-the Greeks call places like that cafeterias.

        Anyways, we walk up and down the street, doing some shopping(so Matt can get a jumper and Hollie some shoes). Now that they don't feel extremely cold anymore we go looking for a cafe.         Breathtaking. Beautiful. Inspiring. Peaceful. We set out from Venice by fast train to Milan and then flew from Milan to Athens. It wasn't possible to get to Naxos in one day from either Venice or Milan, so we stayed in Athens for the night. Now when I say Athens, I mean more Athens airport than Athens itself. While we were waiting for our bags I asked a man if he knew where the Sofftel hotel was. He told me it was just outside the exit and that I wouldn't miss it. Well he was right. ...

        ... to site of Apollo's Door - believed to be doorway of intended temple that was never finished. Lovely sea side location. Great views of neighbouring islands. Number of people swimming. Lots of german tourists here as well.
        Back to unit early afternoon. Cheryl not feeling well so i read while she slept.
        Late afternoon we walked along the St George Beach just 50m from our unit. Very enjoyable and quite relaxing. Stayed on ...
