On Saturday I left Ankara and flew to Thessaloniki, Greece, where I'll be based for a few days before heading back to Istanbul. By the time I got there I jumped off the board and felt the sand of the beach in between my toes in a victory march for my hard efforts. Fortunately the wind helped me to get back to my beach. I was pooped but very satisfied and proud of my hard efforts. We enjoyed some very beautiful food while on Naxos. One of our favorite spots was a beach cafe, where we would ...

... Naxos is everything you expect from a Greek island - beautiful blue water, little white buildings and sailboats in a little marina. We make our way to our studio apartment, which along with having even a small kitchen, dining table and couch, it has a little balcony with a table and chairs looking right out over the beautiful St. George beach! All of this for only 40€ per night! We were kind of starving by now, so we headed down to the beachfront ...
