Tuesday 7/4 - Cold and wet today. After a late breakfast we decided to do a loop on the hop-on hop-off bus so we could see a bit further afield than we have already been. It was also it was a good way to stay warm. One full loop took 2 hours and was fully narated so we learnt a bit more about the city. It's the 3rd Largest in USA with 2.7 million people. My grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family yesterday early afternoon. Thank you to everyone for their well wishes and prayers.
Today is John and my 13th wedding anniversary. A bit bittersweet, but pretty wonderful to spend it with family. Our family bought us a gift card to a local restaurant for an anniversary dinner tonight. There is so much love here right now.

I'll admit; being a towner who joined the circus last year has always made me feel on the outside (not always in a bad way, mind you) but last night I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Kelly Miller Circus is our family and always will be. Thank you, dear friends...we'll see you again soon.
