... Alamo rental car and head west right into the storm front. By the time i reach the top of the Rockies the weather is appalling. Next to zero visibility, plenty of snow falling. Finally make it to Breckenridge, which looks very pretty as the whole area is covered in snow.

A day to do very little, just adjusting to the high altitude and low oxygen levels.

... A cute place, pretty small, friendly staff. Looked in a few stores on Main Street, including a great little used book store called Ole Man Berkins - I couldn't help but buy a couple of books. Back to the condo, then on to the slopes. We did a few green runs, then up to the top of Peak 9 and came down Bonanza (blue) on to some greens (Lower American) etc. Then dressed for dinner and walked to Briar Rose Chop House - excellent!
