... way back, up Gates Pass, which was beautiful. After going through the pass, we pulled off at a lookout spot, and found some structures that the CCC had constructed during the depression. Felt like home, especially when the interpretive sign mentioned how the stonework was done purposely to fit into the environment. ... of air show on or something as the Airforce display team was doing maneuvers over the base. So a lot of roads I needed to take were shut and people had stopped everywhere to watch. I finally find my way to the fence of the base and the boneyard. The number of planes there was astounding.
