There are loads more rides that we did but I'll not bore you on the details of them all, but you get the gist, big, fast, spirally, upside down, twisty and stomach flipping. Stayed in a hostel for about 2 quid a night with some ...

Well, before this entry is started, it's. Important to declare that the Waller's did not make it to midnight. Having said that, what a day! Hit universal and returned to Hogwarts in the hope that we could get on the Harry potter ride. Success (after an hour wait) and so worth the wait. The talking paintings alone were worth it. Most of the rides have really entertaining stuff to look at to avoid queue rage - they ...

... also saw an impressive round WW2 reflecting pond surrounded by tall stone columns depicting each State. Last but not least, the Lincoln Memorial, past the well known Reflecting Memorial pond, and finally The White House. While in DC Paul was able to connect with a friend, Ed Fallon from University days, some 34 years ago!!! We visited with Ed and his partner Dewi, and their lovely son Tipp. They kindly fed us twice! We also met up with our ...
