... wave goodbye to New York and the USA. He was a little sad but also a little excited about going home too.

The plane took off on time and we had 5 hours of hell with a screaming 1 year old all the way to L.A. The mother didn't bother trying to subdue him, just let him go for it. I would gladly have forced a major sized cork down his gob.

Had a 2 hour layover in L.A. and took off just after 10pm for Australia.

Made it to Barbetta Restaurant at 5 pm. Located on 46th St about four blocks west of Times Square, This Italian restaurant has been owned by the same family for 108 years. The Prix Fixe

... that bad considering that it was still wet around us.

Finding parking was yet another fun job, of course. But I really didn't expect to see gas lights in Brooklyn...

Something we didn't see last time (but should have... and wanted to) was the Statue of Liberty.

I finished up dropping Ashley at JFK at 4pm on Friday. Let's not mention that the twelve miles ...

... they are building as a rememberance. It was very busy as they have the official opening of the museum on 21st of May and its open to all family members who lost someone in the attacks before the public. This is why President Obama was in NYC, to open the museum.

We had a quick stop at Century 21 to do some shopping, we were all unsuccessful except Matt. It took us awhile to catch a taxi back to the hotel to get ready for our play.

... lead and ended the first half 19 points in front. Not sure what Mike Woodson (Knicks coach) said in the locker room...but maybe the team knew it would be his last game as head coach (he was fired a week later) as they were on fire in the third quarter, JR Smith leading the way as the Knicks quickly cut the gap and trailed by only 2 points.
