... is styled on the Forrest Gump character. The meal and drinks and tip was about US$42 per person. On the way to the restaurant Jolanta saw two young women who were wearing nothing but knickers and body paint. Ang wanted a photo with them. They gave a price of $5 but kept the $20 that Ang handed them seeking change. It was their idea of a tip. Not impressed. After a dinner we went for a bit of a stroll. ... as he screamed!!! There were also three women with body paintings of the US flag covering their baked bodies (they wore thing undies), Cam didn't understand why anyone would want to take a picture with them!! I told him to give it a few years and he would.

We went into the Disney store, M&M world, Hersheys and ToysRUs which had a ferris wheel inside and a gigantic roaring T-rex. It all proved too much for Ashton ...

... which we would call our home for the next 8 nights. All the staff are very friendly, but gee the bathrooms are tiny! No room to turn around, and you have to open the bathroom door to be able to open the shower door to be able to get into the shower! Don't even think about having a dance party in there cos unfortunately that bathroom is party of one only.

By this time it's nearing midnight, so sleep is definitely in order. Peace out from New York ...

... so we decided to get a taxi. We got to the sign “car services” and said we wanted to go to Manhattan – “Fine”, he said, “$95 + tax”. What do you do?…it only cost us $35 in the taxi in the morning, but we had to resign ourselves as it was late and the train a long way away. Oh Well - That's New York!

... I contemplate our day ahead in the shower...we decided before we left to go to the 9/11 Memorial Garden & Museum today. Our tickets are scheduled for 1pm, surely that’ll give us enough time to negotiate the subway? Then shivers ran down my spine when I noticed the hairdryer in the bathroom (of course) complete with a plug socket & lots of warnings about electricity & water. Who knew?
