    A GREAT Hotel!!

I loved this hotel, it was one if the best I've ever stayed in. It included free wifi, a short walk to the beach and a very short stroll to the restaurants. My family and I stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment, it had a fridge with an ice maker built into it, Foxtel, excellent facilities for cooking and many amazing facilities outside too, including: a pool; a kids pool; and a luxurious spa. I had lots of fun there.

... if Bells beach in Torquay doesn't have the right waves. The main event of the great ocean road was literally down the road now. The 12 Apostles! Although this will be a great memory I will also remember it for the fact that until this point we had hardly seen a soul, then all of a sudden the whole population of Beijing seemed to be at the 12 Apostles! Once we got used to it everything was fine but it did come as a shock, we couldn't understand where they all came from. We visited ...

... high and you drop suddenly, it's one of the scariest rides ever! I went on it with Oliver, Jackie and dad. In a couple of minutes I was on and I thought we were at the top because it was pretty high and Oliver said we weren't even half way. When we got to the top I was holding on for life but I liked going down fast so it wasn't a big deal. Finally they fixed the Tower of Terror 2 and I got to go on it so I can now say I've done all the thrill ...

... Or so I was told. But there are many similarities to the Haight, Berkeley and Santa Cruz. Needless to say, footwear is optional here. I was fortunate enough to still run into people on the bus, even my very first friend I met in Cairns! I spent the first three nights with Meg and Tara, two British girls who made me laugh constantly and get "absolutely charlied!" (aka DRUNK). In exchange I introduced them the best website ever: hotdogs or legs? It's ...

... we are having for the doors.

We have even gone for white door handles that 'fit into' the doors.

Might be too much white, you say? We say that the main 'in your face' feature is the bed, and that will have colour. The seats are black and white. Floor is black, and it is only small. If we really think it that bland we could add curtains. Or a silver trim on the doors. We think we are fine.

Woke up to Scott watching the news this morning, and it seems we made a good choice since the weather is pretty terrible up north where we were due to be heading. We packed the car and went into town to find Alan McDonalds hairdressers for Scott. Unfortunately Alan wasn't working, so he managed to make an appointment for later in the week before we fly to Cairns which he ...
