... so skiing down Bellissimo, to Spar Gulch and eventually down Little Nell. After dinner we had to hightail it from the Venetian down to the MGM Grand to have our minds blown by David Copperfield. It was an amazing show and some of the **** he did was so incredible. Billy and I are sure he is an alien... there is no other explanation!! From there we did a lot of drinking and some gambling at the ***** table, which was fun but 'momma did not get a new pair ...

Today it was the Giant Slalom. Two runs several hours apart with the lowest total time the winner. As it was yesterday skiers only have a course inspection several hours before. The day was not too cold and the course was once again in perfect condition. You really must congratulate the organisers as the course has been immaculately prepared for all these races. ... time Joanna takes the wheel we have weird traffic situations...construction mostly. Boy...if you ever get the chance..drive from I-70 and then south on Hwy 128 to Moab, Utah. how glorious!! It just got better and better the closer to Moab we got...a lot off the drive is along the Colorado River with these steep RED. Rock cliffs..and sometimes wind blown pinnacles or spires or...? ... dad's lunch breaks and after the conference each day, we went to places around Aspen, such as out to lunch and dinner, the John Denver Park, the Maroon Bells, and a hike near the hotel. There were some flowers and many flowering trees all around Aspen. I love all flowers, but my favorites were definitely the pink trees we saw all over.
