Aloha Mahalo Hawaii. Wish I could have stayed longer. But I'll be back ok :-) Just a travel day today, which started when my alarm went off at 4 am this morning. Note to self: No matter how tired you are the night before an early flight, pack your bags the night before! I could have done with an extra 30 minutes sleep ;-) Taxi pickup from hotel to Honolulu airport was on time. I was treated to a Hummer-like 4X4 black taxi, that was also a limousine! All leather inside, and a bar, all ...

Boy, does it live up to it's hype!

    Hello everyone!
As most of you know, we are on the Crystal Symphony heading to New Zealand. This entry says we are in Hawaii, but only because the site doesn't recognize Pacific Ocean as a city.

We are having an amazing time. The service is incredible, the food is excellent, and we seem to be the minor celebrities on the ship. We are the only children on board and there are lots of grandparents on board.

When we got on board, we got ...

... citrus in them. The staff at counters have tried to be helpful - pointing out what they think is allergy free or asking the cook/chef if unsure. Still when you go into a place with 20 dishes on the menu you are often left with one or none. Desserts are practically taboo as they all, except some icecreams and sorbets, seem to have gluten and/or nuts in them. People also have cravings, even if they have food allergies. One had ...

... you free of charge if you are not well so that you don't spread it around the ship. The staff are very friendly and have done this plenty of time before. We just arrived before the influx of people arrived because we moved pretty quickly through the line. Once checked for our tickets and ID, we were in another line having our carry on screened and ourselves screened and then having a Lae of orchids put around my neck and Andrew got a necklace of shells which are really nice for him ...
