... is a narrow gauge railway similar to that in Snowdonia England and offers a two level trip for tourists. The double-decker seating upstairs is open for viewing and photography and the downstairs is more comfortable with rattan furniture café style and complimentary drinks. ... and restaurants we drove past looked more upmarket. Most of the shops in Charlestown were shut because it was the weekend, but it looked very pretty with old stone buildings. The beach was great and the weather even better. We lay on the beach watching the boats arrive with people coming to stay for the day. In the evening we had dinner on the beach. We had an incident this morning when Anna discovered a cockroach on a towel in the bathroom, and we then had to find a solution to getting rid of it - all sorted now though and the air con is staying firmly on to try and keep them out now! ... We anchor off shore and await confirmation from our tender which has gone ashore to undertake customs duties, as to whether or not we will be able to land our tenders on the beech or not.
