Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast!
... get anywhere but it's pretty nice. Tonight they're teaming up with other hostels and offering a $30 club crawl. It's supposed to be a good night out here and most clubs charge $20 to get in! I'm giving it a miss though as I'm really tired and it's an all nighter so I'd be hanging tomorrow...not good when I'm checking out at 10am!
Heidi is going to pick me up in the evening (I'm guessing about 7pm currently) so I've got all day, probably to just chill on the ...

Surfers...Paradise?
... we are really looking forward to that.
On the 26th March we are going to the first game of the season for the Brisbane Lions, it is an AFL (Aussie Rules Football) game which is a brutal mix of football and rugby so that should be good. Tickets were just 15 quid. We are really just looking forward to our two main trips now - Fraser Island (29th March) and sailing the Whitsunday Islands (2nd April) and we are praying for good weatther!

... thing we’ve noticed about Australians, they seem to be able to afford a boat and truck and live in a massive house for the average Joe Bloggs, the minimum wage is about $20 an hour so I’m not surprised.
Surfers wasn’t for me as it was very Magaluf if you catch my drift with all the holiday homes and definitely no sense of community, its more of a rich Australian place.
