... And where better to do it than my favourite place? Good old Byron Bay. The best place, and the one where anyone who's anyone does a skydive is Mission Beach, but I just knew it wouldn't be feasible for me on this trip unfortunately. The ride up to 14,000 feet took us about 15 minutes, and at least 10 minutes of that was flying over the Pacific Ocean. During the climb, I was more afraid of the plane crashing into the water than I was of the actual dive! At the same time, Matt was casually eating a sandwich while videotaping and taking ...

... there and given time to explore the community. Then they had a BBQ for us and we went out to dance the night away. After 2 hours of sleep, we hiked 3 miles to go see the sunrise from the most Eastern point of Australia. It was TOTALLY worth it, even with the clouds. Then we went back, napped, had breakfast and spent the day at the beach which was beautiful. Once we ate some dinner, we went out on the town again that night! The next morning we could sleep in! ...
