DAY 3: Pearl Harbor

A travel blog entry by kelsi-rawinia on Dec 03, 2014

... almost frustrating! I spent some money.... And it felt like a lot, but if Id bough all of this makeup back home, it would have totalled about $300 NZD, versus the $100 USD I actually spent! Makeup is so cheap here, if only I had unlimited funds and endless suitcase space! After leaving Sephora (too soon!), we went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner, the restaurant chain that Penny from Big Bang Theory works in. It was ...

... the road and so off we went. We were able to walk straight in and up the elevator to the host no wait. We asked for a table near the verandah and sat for fifteen minutes and didn't get served. Again, it was nature at its best, exploding with colour, fecundity and ...

... family & friends gathered at the local bar to help send Alx off to the mainland.  Our good friends Danny Carvalho & Jon Yamasato performed separate sets to kickoff the night, then ManoaDNA & Alx closed the evening.  Between all the beer, the friends, the memories shared, and the anticipation of the road ahead, I had a great night! This morning, waking up at a reasonable hour (surprisingly), I headed down to Kaimana Beach Park in Waikiki for a day ...

... could take their North Shore tour tomorrow but unfortunately today is the only day of the week they do it and it was already booked out. The owner - Matthew Gray - answered the phone and was very nice. Recommended Michel’s for my last dinner in Hawaii and suggested I try the lobster bisque.

Spent $60 shooting off a few rounds at the S.W.A.T. Gun Club (one of several indoor shooting ranges in Honolulu) then had lunch at Marukame Udon which was a half a block ...
