... on South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. - not the most original trip but perfect for what we want. Cheap bit of fun to help stick to a tight budget. Lots of culture, followed by good sun and easy living. On the 30th August the count down stops. We head out to Bangkok with a stop over in Dubai. I'll be using this blog to keep in touch, put up pictures and keep track of all the experiences...... Well that's the plan anyway. Wish us luck. I'll be in touch ...

It's one of those highlights in a parent's life... An offspring's university graduation.

Bigger than a sporting achievement or Year 12 result, today's has great significance for Liz and it is the reason we have diverted to Manchester.

After two years of coursework by publication (rather than thesis) Nick has qualified for his PhD in the developing field of molecular magnestism after just two years instead of three. ...

... at me when I started playing "Magic Piano" on my iPad and had the volume up. He's just no fun sometimes!

London sightseeing is on the cards today. And then dinner tonight at Jamie's Italian. We are loving eating our way through Europe.

I hope everyone has had a happy and holy Easter and have eaten our share of chocolate today! We might have to find somewhere to buy an Easter egg today!
