... wave comes from one side and pushes me over, then one comes from the other and pushes me back to the middle... and I make it to shore. Suddenly I have a thought: why can't I just claim this island as my own and create my own country here? What kind of a country would that be? There's no flag here, no border guards... hey, I guess it's mine for the taking! I think I'm going to call this "Philosopher's Island" and open it up to tourism. People can ...

The main was a better choice but the sauce was very rich. Tasty, but very rich and spicy. Jerked pork loin, marinated in island psices and hersbs with fried rice and crisp garlic green beans.

Now I have either been in the sun to long today or ...

A Flash of Flying Fish

A travel blog entry by bollinger_babe on Jan 01, 2012

We woke up early this morning once again, looking forward to a whole day at sea. After a good breakfast in the Waterside buffet we went out on deck, where the sun was already bright and the day promised to be another scorcher.

We decided to spend a couple of hours or so up on the pool deck, swimming and soaking up the sun. At 8.00am quite a few of the sun loungers were occupied already; with over 3,000 passengers you had to be ...
