... a quick shop in the local shopping centre and stock up on food and some extra clothes for our next destination.

Tomorrow we head west and hope to get a few km's behind us as we head towards the NT.

We have added a couple of extra pictures in this blog as it appears we missed a few in Airlie Beach.

... Tuesday was a busy day catching up on school from Monday and getting the van ready to travel today. We had a BBQ for dinner with everyone and the girl from Texas made a Pumpkin pie for dessert which was delicious! We left Freckle Farm at 9:30am with a van and freezer full of Freckle Farm produce which was lovely. Should be at the new farm by 3pm this afternoon ...

After looking through all of the tourist books and speaking
to numerous different people over the last few days we discovered that there
really wasn’t a lot of tourist things available to see or do in Townsville
apart from the Castle Hill lookout, the foreshore and water park, and the V8s.

We all had a chance to touch 3 types of Starfish, while stingrays and Leopard Sharks swam past your hands, touch a Sea Urchin and if you hold your finger there for a while the spikes lean towards your finger (weird sensation).
