Thanks to the good people at North End Harley we were back up and running around noon. Phil and I headed straight to the ferry and crossed Lake Champlain to Vermont. ... one car at a time. This made for some nerve testing moments, especially since this is the only road up/down the mountain!
Imagine two cars passing with a fraction of an inch between their side mirrors and a steep drop down with no barrier at the edge of the road! But don't let that scare you!
If you get the chance to take the road to the top by all means do it! The views are breath-taking and will afford everyone a zen-like experience.

... the way up, we started to notice small patches of snow and ice that remained on the ground. Being late April and actually fairly warm, we were a bit surprised but pleased at the novelty - to the extent that we took a photo of Nay holding a chunk of icy snow.
