... they promise that there is about a year's worth of great bouldering routes.
Wow! Nathan and his friends not only brought us to an amazing bouldering area that we would never have gone to on our own, but they practically gave us a guided tour, going from area to area with us and pointing out the best routes and ways to go about them, all on delicious sandstone that really sticks to your fingers. As ...
... note for "DOMENY". It said our room number and "Please us eonly one bed since you booked for one queen." The room had two doubles. Weird.
The trip TO Utah was cool, though. We drove through the Mojave desert. We drove down the Vegas Strip and decided we don't need to return. We crossed the borders of 4 states.
It begins.
... and outlet shopping. By the time we arrived at the inn in Beaver, it was already past 9 PM MST (8 PM PST). I was able to read more than 100 pages of "Eclipse" for the first day, which indicated that I will complete this during the middle of the trip!
Hmm...so the majority of today involved driving, DRIVING, and more driving. How fun. At least taking a swim in an indoor pool balanced sitting around for several hours! Tomorrow is where the real fun begins.
the 75 miles from Provo to Price are very beautiful I would imagine on a nicer day with better road conditions. Hwy 6 is under construction most of the way. We got up early to try to aviod some of the traffic. That ment 5am breakfast and 6:15 on the road. Unlike Florida the wind is up early and we had to go through a canyon that has a wind farm in it and of course the ...

Little Sahara, Utah, United States jcjavo... Melody & I head out to dinner, Mongolian BBQ and chinese buffet tonight. The BBQ was great and buffet was actually pretty good and we shared some great stories. Even for a CPA listening to two people in the medical field. Then we got some more gelato (mmmmm....) I tried the Rose flavored gelato, it tasted like a rose smells, but I decided to go with the Stracciatella (chocolate chips) which was also yummy. Then it was back to the hotel to watch more olympics and to get some sleep.
Provo Canyon, Utah, United States mwilliams79... real US $2 dollar bills, AND there are 100 of them. They still had the band around them from the bank. There I was, standing with my mouth open with $200 dollars in my hand. I've heard about these guys wandering around giving money away, but never when I'm standing on the street. Now as I said we have had a fantastic day. Ben and Sharon PS---He said to give them away, so I gave them to Ben.................
Page, Utah, Utah, United States bensharon... the place. The runs are a lot of fun and it's set in a very pretty canyon compared with the bigger ski resorts. Today we also picked up Cleo and a couple more of Joe's friends, Chris and Adam, who met us at Sundance to ski. It was warm enough to have lunch outside....spring skiing conditions. On the way back to the cabin we stopped by Bridal Veil falls (see photo). The drive to the Sundance Ski ...
Park City, Utah, United States big8little... far as we know, anyway. If I did choose, I have no idea why I would choose Price, which leads me to believe I had no say in the matter. Then of course you have to go through school and you live where your parents live. My only other options would be running away or dropping out of high school, which I'd assume would have a negative impact on my future.
There's a quote I've read by Joseph Epstein that has always stuck in my mind ...
... When you spend every day with the person you love the most, you have to spend some time apart to keep things fresh. Jenn dropped me off at Arches National Park with my bike and drove herself around Moab to do some shopping and some sight seeing of her own. There was a restaurant that sat on top of a high hill overlooking the town. She drove up to that restaurant to enjoy the view of the town and the fall leaves. A steep and high cliff hugs and runs along side the town's western ...
