... the same thing happened an though the operator said this has happened previously from the Best Western, 5 mins later there was a knock on our door and it was a sherriff's deputy checking there was not a problem.
So after that little adventure we drove back into Salt Lake City thru some snow flurries to return our car at the airport. Rather than give us another car they changed the oil and we were out of there in only 20 min. Though still ...

... we did. Utah has a reputation for big game , and this hike didn't disappoint. A fellow hiker tipped us off to a moose cow and calf feeding in a wet, willowy draw near a pond. We kept our distance as mother moose have a reputation for being crabby, but it was exciting and even the kids could see them. We finished the hike at Snowbird's Oktoberfest....how perfect is that?
