Another early morning start to get us moving. Fortunately the day only had a couple of stops and only a bit more than an hour of driving between to save us from the pain of the last 2 days of 6 hours of driving each day. Our first stop was the Springbrook Natural Park. This park is a preserved site that is a rainforest with a wide variety of …

Allan, the barista, made fresh coffee, and Sharon had made a mini fresh ...

About three hours drive from there we reached Townsville, where we stayed two nights. The weather cleared from being hot but overcast, to magnificent ; hot, blue skies, breezy, and it has stayed that way until today. We took a long walk, initially through a residential area, and onto The Strand, the ...

... out of the queue but they weren't successful so we headed to see the polar bears. Some idiot was taping on the glass and you could see the polar bear was a bit stressed out, clawing against the glass. What massive paws they have. Then back to wait for the other 2, the girls went in again to try and get them out to find out that they weren't there. No way of getting hold of them so Had to use common sense so decided to head back to the dolphin nursery and ...
