Park and then follows the Fraser River and Colorado River into Glenwood Springs.  It was definitely worth the trip.  It takes about 5 1/2 hour by train and is a 2 1/2 hour drive via I-70 to get to Glenwood Springs.  It wasn't about being in Glenwood, it was about the trip there and back.  Absolutely beautiful trip.       ... crackers followed by another luxurious nap! At 4pm we caught the last rugby match between the Glendale Raptors and Denver Barbarians. The younger guys are certainly a lot faster than the oldies, but our neighbor turned out to be captain of the Cardinals team that won the over 50 division, so there's plenty of celebration all round!       Carbondale and Basalt are small towns down valley from Aspen
      and Snowmass. They retain a bit of a western air about them but are close enough
