    ... brunch, so set the satnav for there. On that subject, the cheap satnav that I bought off eBay before we left the UK has been brilliant....would have really struggled without it. Top tip for anyone thinking of driving a lot abroad. First Watch was still very good....usual american portions! Next, off to Siesta ...

    ... beach umbrellas, etc. with wooden stakes and surveyors tape. If all goes well in about 55 days, 100-120 little turtles will hatch and make their way to the ocean. We could go on and on with what we have learned about sea turtles, like that the turtle has a stronger sense of smell than a dog and that a single nesting turtle lays 3 to 6 nests per season. We'll spare you our marine life lessons though and just say that sea turtles are awesome!!! ...

    ... swam some laps, including N, who is able to propel himself slowly forward in his floatie contraption. I think he did lap up a lot of water, too, judging by how much he peed in the hour or two afterwards, But the water wasn't too chlorinated, so it was ok.

    We went home again for lunch and nap and to the circus park again afterwards. Then, we headed back to Lido to watch the sunset. That was a really special ...

    ... Thai chili glaze, peanuts, radish sprouts and soy caramel. All three were better than they sound and they sound delicious even as I type them now. It is pretty easy to see why Libby’s has been either nominated and/or won Sarasota’s best happy hour since opening in 2008 and it was an especially nice way to forget a horid round of disc golf earlier that day at Water Tower Park.
