After an hour or so of searching the net we found a great looking hostel in Auckland right by the Skytower called Surf n Snow Backpackers! We called Mighty Campervans to book our camper, we have a Mighty Highball for the week! Everything looks ...

Remembering it was Christmas Day I opened my three cards (!) one of which had been posted to the hostel from the UK (from mum!) I grabbed some breakfast and then Mia, Daniella and I headed down to the main beach. I'd actually fallen asleep on my bed so they had to wake me up! It looked like it was going to be a scorcher of a day so I grabbed some lunch (subway and water) to take with me - remember we'd been told ...

... till we reached Tewantin and the market there, and would explore the Noosa River shoreline and Tewantin itself another day. The 45 minute cruise, stopping at the T-boats, O-boats, Big Pelican and Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club before it docked at the marina in Tewantin, where we disembarked. After enjoying another delicious in the shade on the plaza around the marina, we spent the next hour browsing the huge variety of products on the market stalls, Syl unable ...
