    ... were beginning to fade. Somehow I was able to talk everyone into it. So we all piled into the jeep and headed for the trail. The ghosts of Hells Revenge came upon on quickly.     ... told him to walk down the trail around the corner and all our questions would be answered. He was right, it was spectacular.
    Driving through Colorado was amazing, the mountains are beautiful. Once again, we weren't on the interstate often, so I think we got to see a lot more. I'd only been to Colorado Springs a couple of times and Denver once, so this was all entirely new to me. We stayed in Glenwood Springs, Colorado Sunday night.

    Woke early am due to thunder and lightning. Had biscuits and gravy. Essentially scones and a roux sauce with u identified bits in. Apparently sausage I think but tasted like mushroom. Salty.     The storms continue here in southwestern Colorado. The Blue Mesa Lake is full, the rivers are high, and flash flood warnings are in effect. In fact, the folks of Gunnison are concerned that this weekend's kayak competition may need to be postponed because the white water is to dangerous.
