Random Kindness Pays off

... they promise that there is about a year's worth of great bouldering routes.
Wow! Nathan and his friends not only brought us to an amazing bouldering area that we would never have gone to on our own, but they practically gave us a guided tour, going from area to area with us and pointing out the best routes and ways to go about them, all on delicious sandstone that really sticks to your fingers. As ...

The Tour Starts!

We were went out for our Camfel tour on Monday. We have 2 1/2 days to make it to Illinoise for our first show. Here goes road tripping across the country!

We have loved it. The first night we stayed in Manti, Utah. Expedia found a shady motel way too far off the route. They were closed when we arrived, but on the office door was ...

A Long Day of Nothing But the Open Road

... for a price such as that! It had over 100 entries ranging from mongolian BBQ to sushi and chinese food! YAY! I got full after that. Once we were back on the road, I saw more of Arizona's mountains and Utah's red boulder-like structures. Furthermore, I could feel the heat getting to me when the temperature rose to triple digit numbers! :(

After a few hours of staying in the bus, we stopped by at St. George, Utah for dinner at Carl's Jr., the restroom ...

Danger and tough

... need to go down for the next 8 miles, my hands and feet were going numb but the construction required that we get off the bikes and walk them around some of the more intense areas. The rain is still coming down and the temperature is in the 40's, a far cry from Florida we are also still above 6,000 feet. Well tomorrow is another climbing day I just hope that it is dry!

Tubing..... not always the best idea

... all on it's own because there were a lot of rocks in the water and in their parking lot. They really should consider changing the parking lot to being paved or to something more flat. They've got a pile of lonely flip flops so they know that people lose their shoes on these trips! I will say that overall I enjoyed it and was glad to have the experience..... but I might stick to lazy rivers at waterparks from now on. After gimping my way back to the hotel, Chrystal, her new ...

Amazing Day at Page

... I had a tooney. I told him I couldn't take them, but he insisted and wanted my tooney. Then he said I had to give them away. They looked real, but I figured they probably had his picture on them - some kind of joke or advertisement. I thanked him - he got in his truck and drove off. showed Ben then went in the office asked if they knew of the old guy - they didn't, but they checked for counterfeit - they ...

Skiing in Utah Park City and Sundance

... the place. The runs are a lot of fun and it's set in a very pretty canyon compared with the bigger ski resorts. Today we also picked up Cleo and a couple more of Joe's friends, Chris and Adam, who met us at Sundance to ski. It was warm enough to have lunch outside....spring skiing conditions. On the way back to the cabin we stopped by Bridal Veil falls (see photo). The drive to the Sundance Ski ...

The Beginning

... ship or some cool story like that. I still have it.

18 years in Price is not really what would have chosen for myself. Price to me was ugly, small, close-minded, bland. It was liking eating the same thing for every meal, each day, each week, month, and year, for 18 years. Nothing new. Big trucks, coal mines, hunting, country music, Wal-mart....that's Price.

But where you are born is something you cannot choose. Well ...

Greetings from utah we were so thankful ...

... When you spend every day with the person you love the most, you have to spend some time apart to keep things fresh. Jenn dropped me off at Arches National Park with my bike and drove herself around Moab to do some shopping and some sight seeing of her own. There was a restaurant that sat on top of a high hill overlooking the town. She drove up to that restaurant to enjoy the view of the town and the fall leaves. A steep and high cliff hugs and runs along side the town's western ...
