The Old Hegg Turtle Sanctuary is run by a a former skin diver, Orton King. He started in 1995, when he retired from diving and realized that his throughout his life he had always taken from the sea. Maybe it was time that he give back. Some of the islands in the area are Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau, Tobago Cays, Petit St. Vincent, Union Island, Petit Martinque, Carricaou and Grenada. ...

There was also an article ...

... part of the older group (50s and 60s), but the first night Gail was knocking down the local homemade rum punch like a fish! Definitely can hold their own. Next up is Tym and Kelly. They're just roommates, but Kelly is definitely a head turner for the guys at the bars. Tym can hold his own too. Both about my age. Tym seems like someone Ill stay in touch with. The last two are Jeff and Brian (or BDC). Both straight and single. Jeff is my roommate ...

... In Bequia, where I am now, they are allowed to hunt and kill four whales per year and we were told that there was great cheering on the beach only a few days ago when one got away! There have been two sightings in the last week so we might get lucky.

We were joined for the Rolex regatta by Henry, Chris and Adam, all friends from the UK and Corrine, a budding yacht master from Switzerland. After some training from our skipper Chris and a practice day ...
