Magnetic Island.. il posto piu bello fin'ora!
... sua esperienza in Australia.. Parlava solo lui ma era simpatico! Ad un certo punto sentiamo un urlo: era una sua amica tutta impaurita perche' un opossum era venuto sul tavolo a rubarle un pezzo di pizza!! Ahahah! Era bellissimo!! Bristol ci propone di andare a fare un giro sulla spiaggia con il suo gruppo di amici, e andiamo.. Volevano vedere animali selvaggi ma con la lucetta che avevano portato c'era gran poco da vedere! Io e Ivonne decidiamo di tornare indietro , le ragazze ...
Mission Beach to Bluewater Park
... closed for maintenance. Had a wander around Tully and climbed to the top of the BIG GUMBOOT which stands at 7.9 metres tall, representing the highest annual rainfall in 1950.Tully also had 1140 mm of rain in one day back in 1967! That's a lot of rain! Not much else to see or do in Tully so we returned to Mission Beach.
Again, car cleaning and more beach walks. You will be pleased to know ...
Magnetic Island
... the nice whiney coast roads it felt like you were driving a go-cart, I didn't want to get out. We headed over to the other side of the island to horse shoe bay and had some lunch. After lunch and a light cider refreshment we headed to bungalow park to see some animals. This place is a must do if you are ever on magnetic island, you get to hold so many animals, tho it is becoming very popular. We got to hold a 8yr old croc named barbie (how appropriate), ...
Glorious stop
... leading down to it, parked the van got the camera out
and started wandering around and taking photos. The dogs weren't too impressed
walking on the rocks, and decided to take a breather while I continued with my
shots. I stayed for about two hours, just long enough to dry the washing, have a
snack and then back on the road again. I didn't want to drive too far and found
another sign towards a place that wasn't even on any of my maps...Taylors Beach

Here we are Townsville
We decided to make base here at the caravan park as we have arranged to head over to Magnetic Island for a few days and are going to leave the van here.
We also had to get the air con fixed YET AGAIN and there is a business here that will do the warranty work for us.
