We are packing tonight to continue our travel to Yosemite National early tomorrow. We have had a great time in Mesquite playing 4 of their outstanding golf courses in 5 days. But rather than writing about the last 2 courses, I have included a few pictures that say it all.

... get done right before dusk, dispelling the myth the pro shop told us "you won't get it all in before dark".

That evening we ate at Katherine's Prime steakhouse, spending Mike's big winnings from video poker the night before when he turned $20 into $135. It was a glorious day and well worth the money for the golf, after all we did have a great meal for free!

... of you, we were able to enjoy the wanderings that have taken us across the States and into Central America. We have seen some beautiful scenery but also some very depressing sights. I don't want to sound like a prude or snobbish. I just want to share my viewpoint and observation. While the mountains in Tennessee were beautiful, and the views along the shores of the Atlantic Ocean were spectacular, Jeff and I were both missing the Southwest terrain ...

... We had no intention of stopping but spotted a sign for Hollywood of the West Museum so had to call in. I didn't realise that famous movies and shows such as Gunsmoke and The Outlaw Josie Wales were made in Kanab and surrounding areas. The museum was free and was interesting as they had props from quite a few movies. A lot of the props look really authentic but are made from fiberglass or foam.
