... boxes require quite a climb of 4 sets of stone steps straight up which has you questioning why are you paying good money to put yourself through this? But then when you get on the tee box & look out your heart is like hitting a ball straight into the heavens, covering what seems an impossible expanse of sky to the lush fairway. Boy, what a feeling when you see it actually hit the fairway!

... money paid. We didn't check out the restaurant or casino that day. But since the thermometer had finally hit the 40C mark, we decided to check out the pool and spent a long time in the water, til the sun set behind the mountains.

Route: Tropic - Zion National park - Virgin - Hurricane - Mesquite

... the rain out here. So we got 2 new states today on the bike (Nevada and Arizona). Tomorrow we head thru Utah and then to Colorado. We have a few more states to go thru that we haven't yet, but after this trip there will be only 4-5 states we haven't been to on the bike. Pretty impressive and YES our butts feel it right about now. Shane said we are at about 5,200+ as of today. Until tomorrow,,,, ...

... was unpacking our boxes in our condo here in Mesquite. I looked at my dishes, my towels, even my bedspread in a whole different way as I remembered when I purchased them for our home in Arizona.
