... in this part of Florida are great improvements over the others so far. This campground is mostly used by 'snowbirds' (for our Danish readers: snowbirds are people from the northern climates who come to warm Florida to spend the winter), so we're enjoying lots of space and an uncrowded pool.

... lunch and dinners, dips in the pool and a trip to the beach for breakfast all filled the days. Everyone left on Sunday and we had a full day with Mom and Dad.

Monday afternoon we headed for Tampa to catch our Us Airways flights to Phoenix, on to Las Vegas, and finally, Hawaiian Air red-eye to Honolulu, arriving at five a.m.

... bar area under a cool night wind. Whilst all this was going on the hostel also opened its doors to a dozen women who come from all over the US to play music together. It's mostly guitars, ukuleles of various sizes and the odd drum. Some of the women were so talented with their playing, singing or song writing or all three. They gathered in a courtyard with balconies overlooking where I would sit quietly and listen amongst the trees. By midnight their parties over the weekend ...
