... bread rolls. And a spritz. (Made with prosseco (sparkling wine) Apple juice and water). Bellissimo! What a magical spot to have lunch, out on the balcony. Lake and mountain views. Beautiful! After lunch I walk through the hotel's gardens. Beautiful again! Back to Varenna for a spot of last minute shopping (bought some prints of the area) and a huge gelato. Back to my room to pack up. ... lastly my favorite...ones like in Harry potter with little rooms for the seats. This one we shared our little room with a very nice Italian woman. She just say and read her knitting magazine the whole time. The train ride was filled with lots of tunnels and when the train when through them it was totally dark on the train so for awhile we all sat in awkward darkness til someone found out there was a light in our little room. When we got to la spacia there was one more small ...
