    ... 8217;d have been in trouble… We fired up the gen set… had dinner and in the cover of the old growth Douglas Fir we relaxed in the shade as the RV cooled down… The next morning a couple of the campers and the host camper came over to check out Jim’s caboose … They thought it was pretty great and want to make something like it for their own!

    ... created by the eruption of nearby Lava Butte approximately 6000 years ago. The lava flow damned the Deschutes, forming a lake known as Lake Benham. The river eventually flowed over the dam, draining the lake, and forming the falls.

    Happy Birthday Daddy!! Today is Tim's birthday. Poor daddy being so far from us but we promise to celebrate you well when you get here Wednesday! Today Uncle Bart took us to Mt Bachelor for some cool mountain fun! We even rode up the ski lift and saw all the mountains for miles! Truly amazing!
