    ... to the tri-nations who live in the Warm Springs Reservation.

    We had lunch in the museum car park - very few wasps this time and then went through the complex. Of course it started with a video which Robyn endured well. It was another story of man's inhumanity to man, but the story of three indigenous nations working together now on tourist and agricultural programs was a positive way to finish.

    Then we headed to Kah-Nee-Ta - the warm ...

    ... 8217;d have been in trouble… We fired up the gen set… had dinner and in the cover of the old growth Douglas Fir we relaxed in the shade as the RV cooled down… The next morning a couple of the campers and the host camper came over to check out Jim’s caboose … They thought it was pretty great and want to make something like it for their own!
    We did several things while we were relaxing around the RV here at TT in Sun ...

    ... created by the eruption of nearby Lava Butte approximately 6000 years ago. The lava flow damned the Deschutes, forming a lake known as Lake Benham. The river eventually flowed over the dam, draining the lake, and forming the falls.

    We stopped at the Sunriver Village which consists of numerous shops and restaurants. Many people were milling around.

    ... said I was running heavy and it takes about 2 weeks to figure out what one really needs. Later when I went to send the stuff home I unfortunately trusted Google to find me the Office Max. After going around in a big circle twice I gave up and asked someone where the Post Office was. It turns out I had been going around it by a block for at least an hour! Once I was there I tried to turn in my 2 boxes without a return address. The "Government" doesn't like packages ...

    Of course we had to drive over one evening and put the spotting scope, and camera on the nest and get some photos and a look at what they were doing… We drove over one evening, and then the following morning.... in each case we set up the tripod and spotting scope, and the Cannon and 500 mm lens on another tripod and took a lot of ...
