    ... 8217;d have been in trouble… We fired up the gen set… had dinner and in the cover of the old growth Douglas Fir we relaxed in the shade as the RV cooled down… The next morning a couple of the campers and the host camper came over to check out Jim’s caboose … They thought it was pretty great and want to make something like it for their own!

    ... created by the eruption of nearby Lava Butte approximately 6000 years ago. The lava flow damned the Deschutes, forming a lake known as Lake Benham. The river eventually flowed over the dam, draining the lake, and forming the falls.

    ... Critters at the toy store. Doesn't make much sense to me as ya can't chew on em and ya can't play fetch with em ... go figure. Dad brought home a giant crate for the back of the pickup. Smashed his finger trying to figure out how to make it collapse - think the sales clerk at pet store learned some new cuss words. Evidently the dog is supposed to hang out there when its hot and the rest of pack is off sightseeing. Not sure how to ...
