    There's a lot to be said for this traveling-by-car thing. Sure, taking a plane gets you to your destination faster. A lot faster. But there's that pesky luggage limit. Both in quantity and in volume. In a car, the amount of stuff you can take is restricted to the size of your vehicle. And the constraints set down by your fellow passengers.

    Today we headed to the Beach at Siesta Keys, I'm not a particular fan of flat white beaches where the only thing to do is swim around in a flat sea, then sitting around on a beach getting sand in everywhere and boiling alive. (which means funnily enough I actually prefer going to the beach in Britain, where there are waves, cliffs and its absolutely freezing) And I wasn't hugely impressed that was exactly how it turned out. ...

    ... bought a condo as their winter home base, but like us with our Toronto house, renting it out and living elsewhere. They chose to rent a nice bungalow across the street on the beach.and seem very happy with life there.
    Last week I enjoyed a two day sojourn to Toronto to earn a few sheckles and have an opportunity to catch up with Mir and rub Rowdy's belly, my last chance till we can get out to BC to see them there..Toronto was cold damp icy ...

    We stayed at my buddies parents condo for the duration of our time there and it was great. The only glitch was that they all liked to play tennis and I had no tennis skills at that time! I did however have loads of Volleyball skills and we used them on the beach every day.
