... had been back in 2000 to Orlando where it was very hot & humid. This time the thermometer read 29C but it wasn't humid at all. The sea while not Thailand hot was certainly warm & most pleasant. Overall a very nice way to spend my first day off in almost 5 months! It was about 100 meters of sand between the shore and the entry to the beach. It appeared smaller then this though, because of the amount of umbrellas, chairs and tents that are on the beach. Once we reached the shoreline, Sean and I went for a swim, while Shiri worked on her colour. The beach itself was extremely busy (think a hot summers day down at ...

... smoking in the room when we left. The attendant said unused rooms often developed that smoky, stale smell. We were given a certificate for $25.00 off food in the hotel restaurant; we will use it upon our return on 6 April. After lunch, we took a long nap (discussed in Friday’s post). Later that night we paid a few bills online, repacked a few items, ate leftovers for our earlier lunch, talked with family and then called it a night.
