Once back on Whistler mountain we hiked down and then up to the extension chair lift that takes you to the actual peak of the mountain. This weekend was the kick off to a 3 week mountain biking event called Crankwork ...

... steep but Al powered away slowly reeling in those who went out too hard and we made it onto a downhill track but headed up instead of down. We knew we were putting time into the Danes who still had third by 30 seconds but Michael had been up all night sick so wasn't in the best frame of mind to ride today. The first decent was great, a simple pump track but as we came out into the next bit of track we came across a nasty accident on some timber boardwalk.
