It was a bit of a drag to leave our v smart comfortable room, here in twee trendy whistler. The place is teeming with fit young men, or some not so fit, with all sorts of injuries from hurtling down ski slopes on mountain bikes. The cable cars are adapted to take the bikes up. Other activities including doing a bobsleigh, the luge or skeleton for $1/second. Hmm. Some went zip lining. I zipped out of that one on account of my ankle of ...

We did eventually get some hot wings and potato skins to munch on, but it was mostly beer and cider that was consumed. Not surprisingly, I was not in a very happy state when I woke up the next morning. I kept putting off getting up and getting ready for the day, cos my poor hungover head was killing me!!! But after some nurofen, ...

... to tackle the Chinamen's Peak hike. Neither of us had Internet/ data so every time we would do a hike, we would have to make sure we have addresses or directions. We got directions but this one took us some time to find which made it a little frustrating. We found our way out to where we needed to go by simply trusting our instincts. At no point did our directions say to take a winding dirt road which seemed to lead to nowhere. But at some point along the road we found the ...
