... a Hawaiian warrior. There was allocated seating so we got that sorted out then were free to wander around. Dinner was at 7pm and it was now 5.45. Edie's eye was still giving her grief so after looking in the shop she sat in the shade while I checked out what was going on. ... watch the movie, then queued to board the Navy boat, then queued to get onto the memorial, only having about 10-15 minutes on the memorial before having to again queue to get back on the Navy boat to return to the Visitor Centre, then back on the bus to travel over to Ford Island to the USS Missouri, where you had to queue again.

Today it all seemed so rushed, that it was hard to get the real meaning and feel of the memorial. Organized bus ...

... have been more perfect. However the simple skyline of the 50’s had disappeared, about the only landmarks left were the Royal Hawaiian Waikiki beach and the Aloha tower. The simple times and life of raising a baby girl were gone, replaced by the fast paced chase of the tourism dollar. It had morphed into a concrete jungle.

... in the car Henry asks if I have my luggage tags on and is my suitcase locked. Ummmmmmm, ok..... no, not yet. So I have to do all this curbside at the airport. So Typical!!! And our adventure starts.

... at the cameras. All I had to say was BANG and I won the game. Then it was time to go on the next flight. It was a 10 hour flight where I mostly slept. When we arrived at the hotel, there was not much that could stop me from going to sleep. But, I was going to have to keep my sluggishness back the next day because we were traveling yet again.
