Seeing the Alamo was great, and the history is awe-inspiring, but something really bugged me. They've turned this shrine to American history into sort of an amusement park. All around the Alamo there are attractions like Ripley's and theme park rides. I understand that they are trying to cash in, but left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
