Up about the same time as yesterday but as the clocks went back today it means we got an extra hour in bed!!

Head out and get the shuttle, arriving at the track about 10:30am, we get dropped right at entrance today which saves a bit of a walk, yay! A lot busier today than yesterday already so we head up to turn 1 straight away. We manage to get a spot on the hill but not as high up or as far back as we would ...

... It's a beautiful building inside and out.

Later in the day we took the dogs to Doghouse Drinkery & Dog Park. The dogs got to run around and we had a beer. The place is well supervised by the owner and her staff. And the cost is minimal. What a concept!

A carryout pizza hit the spot that night. Mike and Staci's friends stopped by that evening and we visited with them.

We played with some kids from this neighborhood. After that went back to our hosts apartment again a went swimming I ...

I started to wonder if we made a mistake going. The general feeling was that it was for the older crowd. I was so nervous, thinking that I had ruined the night by suggesting and booking the tickets.

WE DID NOT. It's definitely not ...

After a night on the town, my friend Summer and I had some girl time over breakfast. She took me to a local joint and we had a great time. It was just like the "good ol' days" where we could talk for hours. We've not lived near each other for over a year, but it felt like we never moved from El Paso.

Then it was on to Schlitterbahn in New Braunsfels. Now, this is supposed to be the cleanest water park in ...
