Mantova is nestled into a c-shaped lake, giving it some really wonderful trails to bike around on (especially at sunset). ... and we mentioned Seattle, the owner said that he knows Rick Steves who indeed has visited his restaurant. Very proudly he brought out his tablet to show us the video clip. Wine was poured with a very unique aerator that is hand blown glass from Italy. When Kathy asked where we might get one the owner said he would sell us one. Another souvenir of our trip!
Verona has been a lovely stop and one to recommend for a short stay en route to Venice.
