... It's not what we expected, it's like Miami with lots of high rises. We had a nice surprise that we have a small apartment with our own kitchen and bathroom and living room that we share with one other couple. Yesterday we just chilled out on the beach before I made us chicken satay curry for dinner, watched tv and got an early night! Today we had a lazy morning and wandered to the beach for an hour or so before having a look around ...

We could hear the roar of the engines from the hostel to the beach. Sadly we didn't have the time to go, or tickets. Shame. On the way back to the hostel to ...

... cute, but very messy, their enclosure was absolutely covered with poo!!!) before finishing up with some shopping in the gift store ( Caity bought her own Dora doll). Shark Bay was probably the best set up enclosure of the lot with so many types of fish, sharks, rays, turtles etc and you could go underneath and watch all the animals like underwater world - absolutely stunning. After that ...

... about an hour and a half inland to visit the blue mountains area, we got a hop on hop off bus that takes you to different sights, mostly though we walked through the forest and cliff edges of the blue mountains, taking in the fresh air, stunning scenery and epic views over the valleys. A great sunny day which also helped the feel good factor! After driving home it was our final evening in Sydney so we went for steak and wine! Great combo to finish on. The next ...
